William Paul Cullen

William P. (Bill) Cullen September 30, 1937 – September 4, 2021 William P. (Bill) Cullen passed away quietly in his sleep at the age of 83. He was born in Pittsfield MA and graduated from Pittsfield High School. Bill was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elizabeth (Betty) Cullen, Farther Earl Cullen, Mother Eleanor (Carrier) Cullen, Brother and Sister-in-law Richard and Annie Cullen, Sister and Brother-in-law Beattie and Robert Milotte, and a son Shaun who died at childbirth. Bill is survived by his daughter Deborah (Cullen) Marshall, Son-in-law Dennis Marshall, Granddaughter Kimberely Reynolds, her husband Seth Reynolds, Great-Granddaughter Elizabeth Reynolds, Granddaughter Crystal Carrero-Rivera, her husband Arnaldo (Curly) Carrero-Rivera, nephew and family Paul, Debbie, Donte and Gabrielle Milotte, and nephew and wife William (Billy) and Doris Cullen. Bill was a veteran of the United States Air Force stationed in Germany, honorably discharged in September 1958. He spent the majority of his adult life in service to others as a Firefighter with the Pittsfield MA Fire Department, Titusville FL Fire Department and Merritt Island FL Fire Department. He subsequently was hired as a Fire and Safety Inspector for Walt Disney World and finished his career in the fire service with the Orlando Fire Department as a Fire Safety Inspector III. He was very dedicated to the safety of others, ever increasing his knowledge by attending educational classes throughout his career including classes at the National Fire Academy at Emmitsburg, MD. Outside of his fire service career, Bill was a motorcycling enthusiast in his younger days riding his ’47 Harley Davidson with the Greylocke Riders. Later in life, he was a vintage train afficionado and miniature railroad hobbyist with an extensive HO train display set up in his garage. Bill was also a talented model maker and artist, assembling, modifying and beautifully finishing models and projects ranging from a 17th Century wooden galleon, Universal Movie Monsters, dioramas of WW2 battle scenes, various aircraft, to a handmade wooden doll house for his Great-Granddaughter Elizabeth, and many other items. Bill will be greatly missed by his family.
