Coronavirus (Covid-19) Precautionary Measures.

Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Homes, Cemetery & Crematory Is Prepared to Safely Care For Families During the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Please be assured that as funeral service professionals, we are fully committed to the health and safety of the families we serve, our community, and our team members.

To help address this developing public health concern, we have instituted specific precautionary measures to help lessen the spread of the virus by:

● Increasing the frequency of deep cleaning our entire facility per CDC guidelines.

Ensuring we’re all following recommended healthy habits, such as staying home when sick, washing our hands, and covering coughs and sneezes.

● Working with our families to adjust service times and following limitations to attendees as directed by state and local authorities.

● Offering expanded arrangement planning options through online, phone, and email while continuing to meet the needs of the families we serve.

As funeral directors, we are uniquely prepared to respond to this new threat. We pride ourselves on having the most up-to-date information and technology to respond to these changes and are always prepared for any natural disasters or disease situations as they arise.

We recognize our responsibility to protect the health of those we are privileged to serve. We will continue to guide families, as we always have, in ways they can meaningfully commemorate the life of their loved one, while adhering to the guidance issued by federal, state and local public health officials. Whenever possible, we will continue to enable families to participate in the rituals that are most important to them.

According to the CDC, at this time, there is no known risk associated with being in the same room at a funeral or visitation service with the body of someone who died of confirmed or suspected COVID-19; however, federal, state and local public health guidance may impact the size of gathering a family is able to plan. Depending on a family’s preferences, their loved one can be safely embalmed. Families may choose either burial or cremation as usual.

Our team meets daily to assess the immediate situation and evaluate all updates from the Centers for Disease Control. We are also members of the National Funeral Directors Association, and we follow all their best practices so we may serve our communities with the most professionally trained staff possible.

We will continue to be available to you and our community 24 hours a day. As we serve our families, we will be taking every possible precaution and continue to provide excellent care. Your health, and the health and safety of our team members, is of utmost importance to us as we try to mitigate the effects of this pandemic and limit the amount of disruption to what we know is already an extremely difficult time for families.

While there is still much to learn about this virus, our team members are well trained and prepared to deliver our professional services during your family’s time of need.

Thank you for your understanding and support during these challenging times. Please take care of yourselves and each other, and contact us directly for more information.
