Wil Charles Goodheer

Mr. Wil Charles Goodheer, 81 of Kissimmee; FL. passed away at Florida Hospital Celebration Health, Celebration , FL. He was the husband of Letecia (Saltiga) Goodheer. Wil was born in Martinsville, New Jersey on May 2, 1932, to Frederick and Dorothy (Wilde) Goodheer. An accomplished and scholarly man, Dr. Goodheer was the past President of the Club of Rectors of Europe; Chancellor for the International Council for Higher Education, Zurich Switzerland; Academic Senator, European University of Global Economy, Brussels, Belgium 2003; Senator of the South Pacific Economic Forum, Vienna, Austria 2003; Member - Vienna Institute of Universal and Interdisciplinary Studies and Related Research, Vienna, Austria; Member - Auprès l'universite europeenne de L'economie Globale a Bruxelles, Belgique, 2013; Academy of Management, USA, 1995; University International Cooperation Foundation, Moscow, 1997-current; Member, International Association of University Presidents, 2001 - Current; Member - European Association of International Education, the Netherlands, 2001-current; and Member - Association of University Administrators, England, 2000 - Current. His Professorships include: the National Economic University, Kiev, 1995; Moscow-International Academy of Authorized Education, 1997, Kiev - International Personnel Academy, 1997; Kiev-International Solomon University, 2003; Odessa-Open University of Economics of Humanitarian Sciences, 2002; and Brussels-European University of Global Economy, 2003. Board Memberships include: National University "Kyiv-Mohyla Academy," Kyiv, Ukraine, 1992-current; Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Chancellor, International Council for Higher Education, Zurich, Switzerland, 2002 - current; American Association of University Administrators, Board member and immediate past Chairman of the Board, 2001 - ; Vancouver University, Canada, 2003-current; and his Honorary Doctorates: Lubbock University, lld., 1990; National Kyiv Economic University, Doctor of Economics, 1995; International Personnel Academy, Kyiv, Ukraine, 1997; Christian Open University of Economy and Humanitarian Sciences, 2002 and Waynesburg College, Pennsylvania 2000. Dr. Goodheer was In International Lecturer around the world on topics related to education, management and leadership. Wil is survived by two sons Tom and Jesse Goodheer. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Janet Lamb. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday April 18, 2014 at 6pm at the Kissimmee Church of Christ 921 W.
