It is with heavy heart that Anastasia Geramanis announces the unexpected passing of Sammy Nasser, 63 years old, her loving husband who left this earth all too suddenly. Sammy died on August 18, 2025 in Kissimmee, Florida, leaving behind his beloved and devoted wife Anastasia who was together with Sammy for 13 years and married for two and half years. Anastasia always cared for Sammy and took care of him till the day he died. Although Sammy and Anastasia did not have children, they considered Chase Nasser-Aboul-Hosn (24) as close as a son can be since he lived with Sammy and Anastasia the first year after his father Roger died in 2016. Sammy and Anastasia are very proud of Chase who serves in the United States Navy. Unfortunately, of his FIVE ELDER SISTERS, THREE of the sisters NEVER bothered to call or check on Anastasia when Sammy died and the other two thought it was okay to post on Facebook and Social Media without telling Anastasia his wife because as usual the sisters are very inconsiderate of anyone else’s feelings especially Anastasia’s. Because the TWO of the sisters are unmarried they will never understand how hurtful and inconsiderate they were to not include Anastasia on decision to how to announce Sammy Nasser’s passing on Social Media. In addition, the sisters need to understand that WHENVER the sisters make a direct point to disrespect Sammy’s wife Anastasia it is the same as disrespecting Sammy’s memory. It was inappropriate and inconsiderate to post the wrong date of death on Facebook and to announce the death of Sammy Nasser on Social Media without telling his wife Anastasia or without Anastasia’s approval. Therefore, avoiding posting incorrect information like the wrong date of death. Sammy is looking down on these sisters in disappointment but NOT SURPRISED that even in his passing they could still not show respect to Anastasia. The only niece and nephews worth mentioning who loved Sammy are: his niece Karen Hassan who called him all the time and sent cards to show she loved and cared about him, and his two nephews Marcus Hassan and Chase Nasser-Aboul-Hosn who also called frequently and visited Sammy whenever they were in Florida. Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Nadia (90) and Jamil, (92) his brothers Roger (67) and Dino, (62) and his nephews Matthew (24) and Jamil (36). Sammy was devastated to lose every one of these family members and with each passing it became more difficult for him to cope living without his immediate family. Sammy always valued the close relationships of his large extended family mostly his cousins: Norman, Nabil, Raymond, Marvin, Mark, Maan, Susie and Iman who were all a part of Sammy’s upbringing, along with his close friend Gary who gave Sammy the nickname, “Slick”. Sammy said he was lucky to have these cousins who he also considered his best friends. The sadness felt by his wife is immeasurable and a permanent scar on her heart. Sammy left us all too soon and will leave a gap that will never be filled. We will have to learn how to live with his memory to keep his legacy alive and remember the all the good things Sammy had done for all of us to help us in times of need and to be our best friend when there was no one else there to help. Sammy was born in Welsch West Virginia on June 18, 1962. Sammy was the youngest of eight children and all of us who knew him remember him to be the funniest person we ever met. He was the class clown. There isn’t a person that Sammy could not make laugh and he used humor in his daily life. He was also a poet and a lyricist and wrote many songs that he never got a chance to publish or perform in public. The Nasser house in West Virginia during the 1960’s through the 1990’s was always filled with cousins because everyone lived at the Nasser household when they first came to America. It was the first stop in America for many family members who emigrated from Lebanon and the Nasser family helped foster many family members whether they stayed at the family home or at the family motel business. Sammy said his parents would give more to the other family members than him which is where he learned to be very self-sacrificing with his time and money for many close and extended family members. In his early years, he was instructed to and we used to joke “child slave labor” to helped with the family several businesses since he remembers working from the young age of 6 years old at the car wash, motel, beer joint, and eventually opening the most popular night club in the Tri-State Area Chasers when he was 18 years old. Sammy joked his parents never had to hire employees they always had Roger, Dino and Sammy to work the family businesses. The sisters were never involved in helping with any family businesses. The brothers devoted their lives to their parents and the family businesses and all of the brothers provided for their parents till the day they died. Sammy proudly graduated from high school in 1980 from Princeton High School and he would always brag, “I am a Princeton Grad”. He has so many “best” friends from his hometown of Princeton West Virginia. To know him was to love him because he always made friends. As one of three devoted sons, Sammy joined his parents and brothers in Kissimmee, Florida in the 1990’s where he cared for his parents along with helping raise his nieces and nephews who lived in Florida. Sammy never missed a birth of a nephew or niece, a doctor’s appointment for his parents, changing tires, getting medicine in the middle of night, birthday parties, and making sure when the parents were not able to provide, Sammy made sure the nieces and nephews always had the best presents under the tree and for their birthdays. If you look at all the nieces and nephews pictures Sammy is in every one of them and more than likely took the pictures because he had an talent and eye for photography. The immediate family always relied on Sammy being there and giving his time and money for the special occasions. It was in 1997 when Sammy took his passion for cars and established a thriving dealership, Motorsports International, LLC selling high-end sports cars and exotics. He was known throughout the State of Florida as the Exotic Car Guy and had vast knowledge of all vehicles classic, exotic and European models. In the last part of his life, he met his wife Anastasia, in Tampa Florida 13 years ago. They always were in love with each other and managed to build a life together in Kissimmee, FL where they were able to both work each business they owned. Sammy and Anastasia were blessed to be able to work from home which allowed them the flexibility to care for Sam’s Mom Ms. Nadia. Sammy and Dino lived in Florida to be by their mother’s and father’s side the sisters lived out of state and devoted themselves to their careers. Sammy and Anastasia married on 2-23-23 in Kissimmee, FL. In spite of Sammy’s many family obligations and hard work with his business and Anastasia’s business, the couple finally made time for themselves for once and decided to get married. Sammy’s first and only marriage at the age of 60. The couple never stopped working being self-employed and caring for each other’s parents. Sammy ALWAYS put his immediate family’s needs above his own. Fortunately, Sammy and Anastasia decided to travel to Lebanon, to visit Btekhnay, for their honeymoon. This was Sammy’s last trip to Lebanon in May 2023. This is the village that is the where the roots of the family are from. Sammy was able to see his homeland one more time before he left this world. The family and roots in Lebanon meant everything to Sammy and he always sent monies to the family in Lebanon and never wanted credit for that or wanted anyone to know that he helped others. Sammy had many friends and was kind and generous to them. If anyone ever needed help, he was right there to offer his generosity and his hospitality to everyone. Every single one of his friends knows how giving he was to all his friends and family much to his detriment at times especially for his family. No one can ever repay Sammy for everything he gave his friends and family. When you look at pictures of him his smile and amazing, good looks is what we will see on the outside but he most kind and even more beautiful on the inside. Although he was the toughest strongest man on the outside, he was the most kindhearted softy on the inside. Sammy will be FOREVER missed by his wife Anastasia who will never get over his most sudden passing from her life. His memory will live on through his wife Anastasia, and his eldest sister Noel Hassan along with her husband Bill Hassan and their adult children who they raised to be descent human beings: Karen Hassan and Marcus Hassan. In addition, the legacy and memory and FAMILY NAME will continue with Sammy’s his youngest Nephew Chase Nasser Aboul-Hosn who is the only living heir who will carry on the Nasser-Aboul Hosn name and legacy in memory of his father Roger, and his two Uncles Dino and Sammy. Sammy was most proud of Chase. Although he is no longer here, he will never be forgotten by ALL of us who loved him. Sammy will live forever in our HEARTS and we will NEVER FORGET SLAMMIN SAMMY!! We all have a void that will never be fulfilled again. Sammy was an amazing man.
