Noelcina Louis Jean

Noelcina “Kom Res” Louis Jean, 82, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Kissimmee, FL. She was born on January 6, 1939 to parents Celemue Louis Jean and Marie Joseph of Leogane, Haiti. Noelcina worked as a factory worker at Comodo in Brooklyn, New York for five years. She enjoyed cooking, dancing, joking around with family and friends, and most of all helping out with her grandchildren. Noelcina is survived by a sister, Marie Rose Louis Jean; four adult children, Eva Germain, Lucina Louis Jean, Fabius Francique, and Jean Widdy Francique; thirteen grandchildren, Julia Petit-Frere, Rolande Germain, Hugues David Germain, Elena Anita Germain, Jeremiah Eli Andre Germain, Clifton Saint Fleur, Cornel Saint Fleur, Fenensky Francique, Fenenskia Francique, Fabalina Francique, Husky Francique, Fabius Junior Francique, Wadley Francique; and seven great grandchildren, Ashley Theophan, Kayla Francine Auguste, Justin Gregory Auguste, Amira Peyton Zoe Charles, Julien Michelson Souffrant, Nathan Shane Wesley, and Xander Richie Winston Charles; as well by many other family and friends. Eulogy Noelcina “Kom Res” Louis Jean was born January 6, 1939 in Leogane, Haiti. She gave birth to seven children and leaves behind four children, twelve grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren. Everyone who knew Noelcina knew music and food was the way to her heart. Noelcina was a free spirit, funny person who was extremely protective when it came to her family. There was a time in life, where she would not miss a carnival for you whether it be on Eastern Parkway for Labor Day or on Nostrand Avenue for Haitian Flag day. Music could not be playing and she was not moving. When it came to house parties and festivities, she would be the first one to offer a helping hand, whether it be to cook something or help setup. As we all come together in this trying time, let us not mourn the fact that she has left us. Let us celebrate the time she had with us. Let us remember the dance moves, the laughs, and the amazing food. Let us remember the person who used her earnings from recycling bottles to share with the children in her home village in Haiti during her yearly visits. Let us remember the person who sat down on the table listening to Raincher on the radio and used to say, “I want a ti chu, chu too.” God called her home, though we may not be ready, we can all agree her suffering on earth is over. She may not be here in body but lives with us in spirit.
