Belfond Louis

Belfond Louis, 82 years of age, passed away on Friday, June 30th, 2023 at Advent Health Hospital located in Celebration, Florida. Mr. Louis was born September 17th, 1940 in Terre-Neuve, Haiti to late Raymond Louis and Genia Charles. He was the youngest of nine children, in which eight preceded him in passing away. Belfond was a very hard working, responsible, and loving individual. Belfond married Adeline Marie Laurent on May 30th 1963 and 5 children were born from this union. Belfond professed his life to Christ at an early age. The family moved from Gonaives, Haiti to New York in an effort to give their family a better life in the United States. In his spare time Belfond enjoyed watching soccer, visiting his local hardware store and spending time with his family and grandchildren. Earlier in his career Belfond was a clothing tailor, cargo shipping manager, cab driver and retired as an employee of Walt Disney World. Belfond loved watching television, listening to music, and gardening. He was a loving and caring person, devoted husband, father, and friend. To know him was to love him for he sacrificed to make sure his family had the best opportunity here in the states. Belfond is survived by his wife of 60 years Adeline Marie Louis, Children: Hans (Fatima) Louis, Sabine (Michael) Desrosier, Gerald (Giselle) Louis, Robert (Yolima) Louis, and Emmanuel (Brenda) Louis . Grandchildren: Jonathan Andrew Louis, Krystal Marie Louis, Hans Christopher Louis, Katina Alexandra Louis, Isabelle Desrosier, Elisha Desrosier, Kaylee Alyssia Louis, Jolie Marcel Louis, Jayna Maylene Louis, Joanna Marie Louis, Sincere Emmanuel Louis, and Emani Glow Louis. Great-Grandchildren: Jazmin Alexandra Louis, Jayden Antonio Howard, Jaleyah Marie Howard, Handy Jr Luc, Jemiah Hans Louis, Adeline Grace Louis. Nephews: Oriol Louis, Babout Louis, Rigaud Louis, Georges Louis, Wideler Louis, Jackson Louis, Yves Louis, Rodney Louis, Kerby Louis, Raymond Louis, Wisly Louis, Louis Donet Dufrene, Renaud Dufrene, Esdras Dufrene. Nieces: Charlinette Louis, Melia Louis, Leila Louis, Esther Louis, Sonnette Louis, Margarette Louis, Renia Dufrene, Totola Dufrene, Gislene Dufrene, Judith Dufrene.
