Annette Teresa Dydo a beacon of love, loyalty, and kindness, graced this world with her presence for 81 remarkable years. On February 11th 2025 she passed away peacefully at home, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to inspire for generations to come. Born on August 16, 1943, in the city of New York, New York. Annette’s life journey was a testament to kindness, passion, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Annette’s early years were marked by her education in New York Catholic schools, graduating High School from Our Lady of Perpetual Help with honors. She not only excelled academically but also distinguished herself by actively working every day after school at a shelter for homeless girls and a local Doctors office, this work experience would define her character throughout her life. Annette’s professional life was dedicated to the medical profession, where she resigned herself to the field of pediatric care, working her way through numerous positions up to Office Manager for a well know Major Pediatric Practice in North Jersey. In 1964, Annette embarked on a new chapter in her life by marrying the love of her life, Robert Dydo. Their love story was a testament to mutual respect, shared adventures, trying times and enduring love. Their paths had crossed due to a blind date in 1957 and from that moment on, they knew it was meant to be. Together, they raised two wonderful children, John and Michele, who, in turn, blessed them with six cherished grandchildren: Gianna, Francesca, Adriana, Daniel, Nicholas and Richard. Annette’s family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them, creating lasting memories and traditions that would endure through the generations. Annette’s culinary skills were legendary, and her kitchen came alive, especially during the holiday seasons. Whether it was Christmas, Easter or Thanksgiving, Annette had a knack for "cooking the house down," as her loved ones fondly described it. Her delicious feasts brought the family together, creating cherished moments of togetherness and celebration. Annette’s life, in its entirety, was a testament to the power of love, kindness, and resilience. Her impact on the lives of her family and the love she shared will forever be cherished. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. As we remember Annette, we celebrate a life well-lived, a love well-shared, and a legacy that will continue to inspire friends and family for generations to come.
