Judith Ann Nerini

October 3, 1962 - February 6, 2022

NERINI, Judith Ann, “Judi” of St. Cloud, FL, born October 3, 1962, passed away Sunday, February 6th, 2022. She is survived by her mother, Joan Ann Crowder; two children, Danielle Horn and Jake Webb, both of St. Cloud, FL; and nine grandchildren, Aaron McCallister, Shawn McCallister, Steven Horn, Autumn Horn, Tristan Horn, Landon Horn, Kyleigh Horn, Eisa Webb, and Ezra Webb. Also, surviving is her sister Jacquie Willett of Liberty, MO, ex-husband John Webb of St. Cloud, FL, and ex-husband Lano Nerini of Waterloo, IL. Her father, James Daniel Crowder of St. Cloud, FL, her brother James Daniel Crowder III of Des Peres, MO, and husband Brian Hayes of St. Louis, MO preceded her in death. Judi, born in Atlanta, GA, moved with her family to several cities including Tampa, FL, Toledo, OH, Wayne, NJ, and St. Louis, MO. Eventually, her love of warm weather, sunshine, beaches, and family drew her back to Florida to live near her retired parents. As a little girl in GA, Judi was able to spend time playing with her brother and their aunts, Peggy and Debbie. Her love of the outdoors started early in life, going on long walks in nature with her “Aunt Peggy”. She was full of energy and engaged in a variety of activities in her youth such as dance, cheerleading, and gymnastics. She even held her own playing football with the neighborhood boys. Her amazing coordination was greatly evident on the gymnastic floor, but was also displayed on the water. She could ski so well, she seemed to have been born with skis on her feet! Judi’s smile could light up a room, and her loving heart and abundant charm was undeniable by anyone blessed enough to know her. Her sweet and fun-loving personality served her well in a career of working in the restaurant business. Judi was an amazing cook, specializing in southern style foods like both of her grandmothers. She cooked the best fried okra ever made!! Christmas was her favorite holiday, and Silver Bells her favorite Christmas carol. As kids, she and her sister, Jacquie, would sit in the living room with the lights off just to look at the lit up Christmas tree while listening to Christmas music. Judi’s greatest accomplishments were also her greatest loves… her children, Danielle and Jacob. Her next great accomplishment was returning to school. With hard work and determination, she obtained her GED from Belleville Area College on May 27, 1999. Upon her father’s declining health, she moved in with her parents to help take care of her father until his passing in May of 2009. One week before his passing, Judi was baptized on April 26th. She continued to stay and help her mother for several years. Judi loved becoming a grandma and loved spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Family had always been the most important thing in her life. Her family loves her, misses her, and will rejoice when they are once again reunited in the Heavenly Father’s Kingdom. A celebration of life service to honor Judi will be held on March 13, 2022, 2:00pm at Connection Church, 700 Generation Point, Kissimmee, FL 34744. In lieu of flowers, please send donations the Angela Denise Foundation. Donations to the Angela Denise Foundation can be made via Zelle payment to [email protected] OR by visiting the “donate now” tab on their website: http://www.angeladenisefoundation.org
