Jennifer Germaine James

May 4, 1965 - January 30, 2022

Jennifer Germaine James, 56 years old went on to be with the Lord on January 30th 2022, in Kissimmee Florida. Jennifer was born on May 4th 1965 in Port of Spain, Trinidad, West Indies to Lennox James and Isidora (Jean) Thomas. Jennifer’s early childhood years were spent in Trinidad, followed by a brief stint in New York before permanently relocating to Boston. Jennifer grew up in Mattapan, Massachusetts and attended St Peter’s Catholic school up to the 8th grade before excelling and matriculating to Hingham High School in Hingham, Mass. Jennifer then successfully transitioned to Quincy Junior College where she graduated with an Associates Degree in early childhood education, which was the beginning of embarking on her lifelong passion of molding the lives of our precious children. Jennifer loved to teach children and especially focused on their growing in the knowledge of God! Her teaching career spanned three decades, but health challenges led to an early retirement. Irrespective of this bump in the road, Jennifer continued to study and stayed up-to-date on the latest teaching techniques for which she received many certifications in education. She studied ASL (American Sign Language), as well as several Bible and child development courses. Jennifer immensely enjoyed spreading the gospel of Jesus and relentlessly encouraged others to accept Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. Jennifer is survived by her mother Isidora Thomas, brother Brian, sister-in-law Charmaine, nephew Gerard, niece Olivia James, Aunts: Joyce, Insa, Christine, Janice, Linda, and Uncle Julius (Minnet). Additionally, she has predeceased many wonderful cousins and relatives from Europe, the United States, Canada, Trinidad and Tobago W. I., the Caribbean and South America. She, also, has a huge spiritual family; the hundreds of children that she has guided to the Lord. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father Lennox S. James.
