William Ray "Bill" King

William Ray "Bill" King, 64, of St. Cloud, Florida, passed away on September 2, 2023. Born on February 1, 1959, in Bakersfield, CA, Bill was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. Bill was a wonderful man with a wide range of interests and talents. He was known as a skilled fisherman and a jack of all trades. If there was ever a problem, Bill was the person to turn to, as he had a knack for fixing anything that needed fixing. He was also a dedicated teacher, mentor, and friend. Bill had a passion for boating, diving, and even dancing (though he would always laugh about it). He had a special connection with animals and was considered an animal whisperer. His list of interests and abilities was extensive and impressive. In his professional life, Bill had a successful career as a Director of Operations in various areas of the Hospitality Industry. He excelled in his work and made a lasting impact on those he worked with. Bill will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Bill is survived by his wife, Jayne King, his sons, Jeremy King and Philip King, his grandson Rayland King, his mother, Wanda Kennedy, and his siblings: Mike King, Paula Moore, Donnie King, Susie Bibby, Mary Acunia, Chuck King, Beckey Parrish, Shannon Anderson, and Eric Kennedy. He was preceded in death by his father, Archie King, stepfather Allan Kennedy, and his sister, Debbie Vita. And many, many nieces and nephews (you know who you are). A service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on September 23, 2023, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with the service beginning at 5:00 pm at Osceola Memory Gardens in St. Cloud.
