Wiley Marcus Black

Mr. Wiley Marcus Black age 79 of St. Cloud, Florida, formally of Cadwell, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, May 26, at his home in St. Cloud Florida. Mr. Black was born October 20, 1941 in Wadley, Georgia to the late Jasper and Ruby (Carter) Black. Wiley was known to a lot of his family and friends as "Buddy". He loved to hunt and fish in his spare time with his beautiful wife Virginia, along with their children, Johnny, Jasper, Kathy, Timmy and Bobby. Wiley worked for over 30 years with Latt Maxcy Corporation out of Frostproof, Florida. When he retired from there he moved back to Georgia and went to work for Larry Mason at his sawmill, where he retired from. Wiley married his beautiful wife, Mary Virginia Coleman on November 7th, 1959 who later passed away on January 4th, 2011. Wiley is survived by his children, Johnny Ray Black, Wiley Jasper Black, Katherine Lenice Vargo, Timothy James Black and Bobby Joe Black. Wiley had 13 Grandchildren, and 12 Great-grandchildren and one on the way. Wiley is also survived by a Brothers, Julian and Roy Black and a sister, Marion York. Wiley was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Virginia Black, brothers, Samson and William Black, grandson Micah Vargas and granddaughter Jamie May. Wiley was and will always be the gentle giant of his family and will be greatly missed by all his friends and family. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, June 01, 2021 at 3 PM at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Cadwell, Georgia with Reverend Steve Moser officiating. Mr. Black will be laid to rest next to his beautiful wife Mary Virginia in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 01, 2021 from 2 to 3 PM at the church before the services.
