Wendy Tordi

Wendy Alessandrini Tordi was born on February 15, 1961 in Vineland, New Jersey. She was all around the most wonderful woman you would ever want to meet. She grew up in Hammonton, New Jersey. She attended St. Nicholas Catholic School and St. Joseph High School. Because of her outgoing personality, she made an abundance of friends, whom she remained close with her entire life. She was active in softball, field hockey, and many other extracurricular activities. She graduated from Montclair State College with a BS degree. After college, she started her customer service career at Bally's Park Place Hotel Casino. She started a family with Michael Errickson. Her daughter Brittany and son Michael became the light of her life. In 1999, Wendy, her children, parents, and sister's family started a new life in Orlando, Florida. She began working at Spirit Airlines where she made many lifelong friends that became family. She spent her days having fun, living life like she was on vacation. In 2002, she met the love of her life Gary. After two incredible years together, they tied the knot on February 21, 2004. Wendy spent the next fourteen years doing the things that she loved. Her love for traveling took her to many places. Colorado, California, Canada, New York, France, and Italy just to name a few. She was the life of the party on the countless cruises she went on. Wendy and Gary traveled to over 20 MLB stadiums throughout the country. Wendy and her family spent many a day going to the theme parks, beaches, movies, concerts, and just hanging out by the pool. Wendy was a big reality TV fan and loved going to the conventions and meeting her favorite reality stars. Even the simple things like sitting on the couch with Gary and her dog Abby made her extremely happy. Although she was a fabulous cook and loved to host all of the family celebrations, she loved going out to eat with family and friends. Wendy is predeceased by her parents, James and Gail Alessandrini and her niece Stefanie Myrtetus. She is survived by her husband Gary J. Tordi. Her daughter Brittany E. Monterde (Jorge), her son Michael C. Errickson, her puppy Abby, and her grandchild on the way. Brother James L. Alessandrini, sister LeeAnn Alessandrini Myrtetus, nephew James Alessandrini (Desiree), nephew Joseph Lee Myrtetus, and niece Kaitlyn Brooke Myrtetus. She is also survived by her in-laws Renato and Rosemary Tordi. Brother in law David J. Tordi (Donna), sister in law Linda Nycz (Jeff), nephew Justin Tordi (Christina), niece Jennifer Haggerty (Shawn), and nephew Christopher Nycz (Sara). Along with many Aunts, Uncles, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. Especially her cousin/best friend Michelle Alessandrini Self. Wendy was funny, vivacious, selfless, and the center of all of our lives. She was the glue that held our family together. We will absolutely miss her quick wit, laughter, and joy that was felt by everyone who knew her. When you met Wendy, you didn't just like her, you loved her. She will forever and always be in our hearts and minds. We love you to the moon and back Wendy.
