Vearen L. Hinds

Vearen Luenell Hinds was born in the year 1930, in Utila, Bay Islands, Honduras. She died In Kissimmee, Florida, on September 17, 2021. She was 90 years old. Luenell lived a rich and healthy life devoid of any major health issues, even in old age, but she died from complications of congestive heart failure. Luenell was preceded in death by her parents, Mckenly Hinds and Huldah Errabella Watla, her sisters Doreen Woods, Emma Woods, Kearen Woods, and brothers Sandy Hinds and Thomas Hinds. She was also preceded in death by her Son Lynell Ebanks and Grand Daughter Amber Wiggins. She is survived by her daughter, Carol (Warren) Wiggins. She also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Latoya Ebanks, Damon (AnneMarie) Ebanks, Ashley Ebanks, Warren Wiggens Jr, and Darryl Wiggins. Luenell also leaves behind her great grandchildren: Caleb Ebanks, Ayanna Ebanks, Destiny Wiggins, and Daylen Wiggins, along with many nieces and nephews and their children. Luenell migrated from Honduras to the United States with her son some time after 1954 and set down roots in New York. Luenell was very industrious and did what needed to be done to take care of her family. She sacrificed any time-consuming ambitions all her life to devote herself fully to taking care of them. One of her career highlights include becoming a supervisor for one of the world’s largest fragrance companies Houbigant Inc, famous for Chantilly and Musk. Luenell loved God and her devotion was clear to all who spent any time speaking with her. She was a devoted, spiritual woman with a deep love and respect for her Heavenly creator and for the congregation of brothers and sisters. She was highly respected in the community and deeply loved by all her family and friends. She was known for her quick wit and sense of humor, and she especially loved music and singing. Some of Luenell’s fondest memories were the times spent with her family. They enjoyed going to the movies, travelling and spending time in Utila and Roatan. She was such an encouraging and radiant soul. When she was in your presence, you knew you were loved by her. Her unconditional love for others bubbled over, and all loved her in return. She will forever be missed and never forgotten. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home and Cemetery in Kissimmee, Florida, followed by burial at the same location.
