Rupert E. Blondel

Rupert Eustace Blondel, age 89, of Kissimmee, Florida, passed away on Saturday, November 10, 2018. He was born in Cristobal, Canal Zone, Republic of Panama on October 25, 1929. He was the only child of John Blondel and Ina Morgan. His love and memories will be cherished by his loving wife; Sandra Regina Blondel; daughters, Helen Blondel, Patricia Grant; sons, Sterry D. Blondel, and Rupert Ernesto Blondel; cousins, Aminta Johnson, Ophenia Jolley, Cecil Springer and others; nieces and nephews, Sharon Marshal, Sheila, Carlos and Basílio Jolley, Hector Walker, Brenda Walker and many more family members, also grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ina Morgan and John Blondel; son, Rudolfo Blondel. Rupert, was born and raised in Canal Zone, Panama, by his grandparents, Clementina Morgan and James P. Morgan, whom he adored, they taught him good values, to be respectful, honorable, loving, hardworking and a decent man. He attended the Adventist College in Panama. His best childhood friends were Vino and Doc, they were inseparable best buddies, and came to live in New York City at young age. He lived in New York City for 46 years and relocated to Kissimmee, Florida, after retiring from Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, in 1994, to enjoy his golden years, a nice place to live, a quiet and peaceful life, with his family, but he has never forgotten the Big Apple, NYC was in his heart! Music was in his blood, nice melodic voice and awesome dance moves, jazz and salsa were his favorite. Sports favorite was baseball, New York Yankees! He also loved his furry yorkie son and companion Tobby. Rupert was an amazing friend, a great father, a loving husband had a great sense of humor and will be missed by all, please keep him in your prayers! Friends are cordially invited to a Visitation with the family on Friday, November 16, 2018 from 10:00am to 11:00am at Osceola Memory Gardens, Kissimmee Chapel, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34744. Funeral Service is Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11:00 am at Osceola Memory Gardens, Kissimmee Chapel, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida 34744. Burial immediately following at Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery.
