Rose Dillon

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved “Nana” Rose Dillon, who passed away surrounded by her family on March 17th, 2025 at her home in Kissimmee, Florida, at the young age of 86. Rose was born in the city of Hull (officially Kingston of Hull) in East Yorkshire, England, on May 12, 1938, to the daughter of the late Cyril Fox and Eleanor Mae Ward Fox. She is preceded in death by her husband Franklin Alexander Dillon, her grandson Michael Gerald Evans II, her sister Tina Graham, her brother John Fox, her brother Reg Fox, and her sister Joyce Daniels. She is survived by her children Warren (Sylvania) Dillon, Donna (David) Lucas, and Beverly (Michael ) Barber; many grandchildren including Nathaniel and Liam Dillon, Croix Evans, Briar, Brock, and Brooke Barber; many great grandchildren including Ayden, Lillie, and summer Evans; her sister Valerie (late Geoff) Paton and lots of extended family following her familial bloodline including niece Jennifer (Rob) Foster, great nieces Julie (Graham) Robertson and Andrea Paton Sutherland, Nephews John (Sue) Daniels Gordon Daniels, great nephews Carl (Theresa) Paton, Robert (Kallie) Foster, Dean Fox, and lots of extended family in England, Australia, Georgia, and Florida. She was a one-of-a-kind woman—funny, fiery, full of spunk, and never afraid to speak her mind. Whether she was cracking jokes, telling it like it is, or giving you that classic "look," she had a way of making life more interesting. She was always ready with a sassy remark that would leave you laughing. She was tough, but her love was even tougher. Nana had a big heart and was always there for her family, ready to offer advice, a cup of tea, or just some good old-fashioned sass when we needed it most. She could be a little angry at times (usually for good reason!), but that just made her even more real and lovable. From her witty remarks to her unconditional love, she made sure everyone felt like they mattered, and she definitely left her mark on this world. We’re not saying goodbye, Nana—we’ll be carrying your love and spirit with us always. You’ll forever be the person who could make us laugh, think, and occasionally not believe our ears! You were the best, and we’re lucky to have had you in our lives. Rest in peace, Nana. You were a force of nature, and we’ll carry your love with us always. Nana’s funeral will take place on March 29th with friends and family 10am- 12pm, service at 12 pm, burial to follow at Osceola Memory Gardens in Kissimmee, Florida on Fortune road.
