Neldita Bustamante

Neldita Bustamante Arévalo, 81, of Peru passed away peacefully on August 27, 2020 at her home in Kissimmee, FL with family at her side. She was born on October 20, 1938 in Iquitos, Peru to Juan Arévalo and Julieta Melho de Arévalo. Neldita, affectionately called La Mosita and Nenita, is best remembered for her selfless devotion to her family and kindness directed to all she met. Although small in stature, she had a huge heart and always put the needs of others before her own. When not directly caring for loved-ones, she enjoyed passing time by reading, sewing, playing word searches, listening to music, and traveling the globe with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed sharing stories of her beautiful neighborhood in Iquitos, Peru, which she fondly remembered as the best neighborhood for one to grow up. Nenita’s most precious moments were those times when her entire family would gather under the same roof. It brought her joy and happiness to be able to care for her children and grandchildren. Her purpose in life was her family and her home was anywhere her children were. Her love extended beyond immediate family as she always embraced nephews, nieces, brothers, and sisters. Nenita shared her life with her husband Eleodoro Bustamante of 59 years. Together they built a home for their children. Nenita’s legacy is the personal and professional achievements of her four children and nine grandchildren, which are testaments of the values she lived by and taught. Nenita is survived by her husband Eleodoro Bustamante, Kissimmee, FL; children, Jeannie Bustamante (Sameer Dawani) of Manama, Bahrain, Cynthia Bustamante (Paul Zinni) of Kissimmee, FL, Sibila Bustamante (Robert Anderson) of Fairfax, VA, and Sergio Bustamante (Susana Rojas) of Pembroke Pines, FL; her sibling, Ana Arévalo of Lima, Peru; and grandchildren, Stephanie, Safia, Taghrid, Tatiana, Ryan, Sergio, Rania, Isabella, and Isa. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Julieta Arévalo, and siblings, Enrique, Dora, Raul, Delicia, Javier, and Jorge Arévalo. Family and friends will be received on Saturday, August 29, 2020 from 2-4 PM at Osceola Memorial Garden with a Catholic service to follow at 4 pm. Hija de Julieta Melho de Arévalo y Juan Arévalo, nació el 20 de octubre del año 1938, en Iquitos, Perú. Neldita a quien se le conoció cariñosamente como La Mosita y Nenita, se le recordará por su devoción desprendida por su familia y la nobleza con todo lo que hacía. A pesar de su baja estatura, ella tuvo un gran corazón que siempre puso las necesidades de otros antes que las de ella. Cuando no estaba cuidando de alguien amado, ella disfrutaba leer, coser, jugar crucigramas, escuchar música así como viajar por el mundo con sus hijos y nietos. Ella disfrutaba compartir sus historias de su mundo maravilloso en su vecindario en Iquitos, Peru el cual decía ella era el mejor vecindario en el que uno puede crecer. Los momentos más preciados para Nenita fueron aquellos en la que toda su familia se reunía debajo del mismo techo. Le traía mucha felicidad y satisfacción el poder cuidar de sus hijos y nietos. El propósito de su vida fue su familia y su casa fue donde sea sus hijos estaban. Su amor se extendía más allá de su familia inmediata dado que siempre añoraba por sus sobrinos, sobrinas, hermanos y hermanas. Nenita compartió su vida con su esposo de 59 años, Eleodoro Bustamante. Juntos contruyeron un hogar para sus hijos. El legado de Nenita son los logros profesionales y personales de sus hijos y sus 9 nietos, los cuales son un testamento de los valores con los que vivió y profesó. Le sobreviven su esposo Eleodoro Bustamante, Kissimmee, FL. Sus hijos Jeannie Bustamante (Samir Dawani) de Manama Baharein; Cynthia Bustamante (Paul Zinni) de Kissimmee, Fl.; Sibila Bustamante (Robert Anderson) de Fairfax, VA y Sergio Bustamante (Susana Rojas) de Pembroke Pines, FL; su hermana Ana Arévalo de Lima, Perú; y nietos Stephanie, Safia, Taghrid, Tatiana, Ryan, Sergio, Rania, Isabella e Isa. Le precedieron sus padres Juan y Julieta Arévalo, hermanos Enrique, Dora, Raúl, Delicia, Javier y Jorge Arévalo. Familiares y amistades serán recibidos el sábado 29 de agosto del 2020 de 2-4 pm en “Osceola Memorial Garden” seguido por servicio Católico a las 4 pm.
