Nadia K. Nasser Aboulhosn

Nadia Nasser Aboulhosn, from Kissimmee, Florida passed away, on April 13, 2021 of natural causes. Nadia was born in Btekhnay, Lebanon on February 20th, 1931 to Hafitha Ackley. Her father Kassem, passed away prior to her birth. She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Jamil Hassen Nasser Aboulhosn, her first born son, Roger Nasser Aboulhosn, her sisters Amira Hibbets and Nohad Aboulhosn, and a grandson, David Matthew Hassen. Nadia had a full life and always wanted a houseful of children. She will be sorely missed by her surviving children, Noel Hassen and her husband Bill, Fadia Abulhasan, and her husband Ghassan Emilio, Dr. Wafa Nasser, Rajia Ackley, Hala Nasser, Dino Nasser and Sammy Nasser and his fiancé Anastasia along with her grandchildren, Marcus, Karen, Lilia, Nadia, Kristen, Nathan, Jamil, Kelsey, and Chase and her great-grandchildren, Aliya, Emma, Ava, Atticus, Max, Quinn, Summer, Adler, and Adalyn. In addition, she leaves behind nieces and nephews, many friends and Aboulhosn family, including her loyal caregiver Sandra, who became like family to her. Nadia and Jamil immigrated to the US in 1960, and joined Hassen Nasser, Jamil’s dad in McDowell County. They moved the family to Princeton during their working years. Then moved on to Kissimmee in their retirement years. Nadia was a career woman long before it was the norm. She and Jamil owned businesses most of their lives. Nadia was always the business brain of the two. She could calculate anything in her head and her computerized brain memorized every phone number that she would ever have to call. Nadia’s passion was to cook and take care of her family and others. She enjoyed entertaining and visiting other Aboulhosn relatives, as well as entertaining her children’s friends. In her days of Princeton, it was nothing for her to cook for 50-60 people without thinking twice. She loved Lebanon, and her village of Btekhnay. Nothing made her happier than to sit out on the veranda and wave to the walkers. Her last trip was 6 years ago. The family will be having a celebration of her life, on Saturday, April 17th, at 2:30pm at Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd., Kissimmee, Florida. A graveside service will be directly after. In lieu of flowers, the family will be accepting memorials in her honor to assist the village of Btekhnay recover from the impacts of the pandemic.
