Moises Urena

Moises Urena also known as "Moi", was born in the evening of Saturday, the 24th of March 2001. The Fourth of seven siblings, Moises was born in Manhatten, New York to Hector M. Urena and Linda Urena. He is survived by both of his parents; his brothers and sisters: Daniel, Josue, Elizabeth, David, Ruth and Esther; and many other beloved friends and family. Throughout his childhood, Moises was raised in the Christian faith,as he, his parents,and siblings attended church and served the Lord. Though Moises was 21 at the time of his death, Moises retained that youthful spirit and joy de vivre which characterized his childhood. After all " there's no point in being grown-up if you cant be childish sometimes" Always the first to make a joke, and try to make his friends and strangers smile, Moises was easily the funniest and most rambunctious member of the family. Moises loved quickly, and laughed even more easily. His dreams were far-reaching, and his determination even greater. Moises was homeschooled until the third grade when he first attended Palmetto Elementary School. But, after that first year , he attended Heritage Christian School, which he continued to attend until he graduated from high school as part of the Class of 2019. During his time at Heritage, Moises played both Baseball and Basketball, though Basketball was the sport he loved. Moises didn't fullfill his dream of playing in the NBA, but nevertheless, upon graduating from high school, his love of basketball never faded. Along with his new-found love for racing, these two passions helped him to form a really large group of friends, all of whom shared the same love of Moises as those who have known him since his childhood. On the afternoon of Wednesday, the 13th of July, in the year 2022, Moises died after being involved in a motorcycle accident. Following his death, his family received an outpouring of support and love from hundreds of people, many of whom were friends of Moises who mourned his death and were eager to share the impact that Moises had on their lives. Moises was a dreamer, a baller, a racer, a prankster, a hard worker, a comedian, a nephew, a grandson, and a cousin. But most importantly, he was a friend, a brother, and a loving son. He will be deeply and forever missed. We love you Moises and we hope to see you soon. " And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." John 17:3 NKJV.
