Marylou Waymack

On November 1, 2019, Marylou Alombro Deguit Waymack, and her two grandchildren, Mariah Jayssa Caraballo Waymack, 5, and Nicolas “Nico” Jayson Caraballo Waymack, 4, left an immense hole in our hearts and souls when they were taken from us unexpectedly. Marylou was born on December 7, 1956, to Constancio and Noli Deguit, in Negros Occidental, Philippines. She attended Marian College in Manilla, Philippines. She built many family memories in Waukegan, IL and Virginia Beach, VA, but ultimately settled down in Kissimmee, FL. Marylou recently retired from Walt Disney World where she had been working for the past 23 years. However, Marylou would never tell you that her job at Disney was “work.” She first started in merchandise at Disney’s MGM Studios (now known as Hollywood Studios), but her passion for creating magical memories for guests pushed her towards a position in operations throughout Disney’s Animal Kingdom. She could always be found bringing laughter and joy to guests and fellow cast members with her captivating spirit and infectious laughter. Marylou was the mother of four (4) children, Lorraine Waymack, Kenneth Waymack Jr., Master Waymack and Carl (CJ) Waymack. She was also a grandmother to ten (10) grandchildren (Lylamarie Waymack, Ethan Hart Waymack, Master Noel Waymack, Mariah Caraballo Waymack, Nicolas Caraballo Waymack, Selena Waymack, Joshua Waymack, Sabrina Yane, Cristina Yane, and Angel Santos Jr.). While living a vibrant life as a mother and grandmother, she enjoyed her time traveling and spending as much time as possible with her children and grandchildren, her most favorite activity. At any given opportunity, Marylou would find humor regardless of the situation. Her optimism during difficult circumstances was both encouraging and inspirational. She was so kind and generous, always laughing, joking, singing every day, and her appreciation of music was passed on to all her children. Marylou was everyone's best friend and a mother figure to many of her own children’s closest friends. She had a passionate heart, a fierce soul and an intense spirit that touched the hearts of those she left behind. Marylou is survived by her mother, Noli Deguit; her sisters Nancy Hanif, Josephine Gottwals, Lorna Deguzman, Gladys Deguit Manner, Dorothy Deguit; her brothers Jamie Deguit, Mark Deguit, and Julius Deguit; as well as her daughter, Lorraine Waymack, and sons, Kenneth Waymack Jr., Master Kent Waymack and Carl (CJ) Waymack. Our hearts are beyond broken. It was a privilege to have them in our lives and we will always love you.
