In the loving memory of Manuel “Manny” Guillermo Ramirez January 26, 1955 – Sept. 20, 2021 “Manny” Guillermo Ramirez, 66, was born January 26, 1955, in Bogota, Colombia. He was the oldest of four children to Ines and Aristobulo Ramirez. He passed away in St. Cloud, Florida, on Sept. 20, 2021, after a valiant battle against Covid-19. He grew up to find his life’s calling as an exemplary husband and loving father. Meeting his wife Ruth at age 30, they soon began a loving marriage which spanned 28 years of utter and complete devotion. Together, they raised two children, Stephanie and David, with dutiful vigilance, and unwavering love and support. His children were his most precious treasures and he cared for them as such until his last breath. Guillermo migrated along with his wife and daughter to the United States in the year 2000 and later became a proud American Citizen. He was forever grateful to this nation for many great accomplishments, including the birth of his baby boy David in 2002, and becoming devout in Christian faith through a new baptism. A genuinely self-made man, Guillermo was always passionate about business and economics. He was a hard-working man who made his way from an independent business ownership to a Business Administrator professional. He graduated as an Industrial Engineer in 1983, from Incca University in Bogota, Colombia. He held a master’s degree in Business Administration from La Salle University – Bogota, Colombia (1988), and Master in Accounting Administration from the Universidad Ana G. Mendez – in Orlando, Florida (2013). His passion for sports began with his love for soccer. He was a great and skilled soccer player who enjoyed playing with his brothers and friends during his youth, and also enjoyed playing soccer with his kids. His favorite soccer team was "Santafecito lindo" from Colombia. Another sport that he enjoyed the most was cycling because he was always ahead of the game, and he really liked the competitiveness. He always worked with passion, vitality and tireless work ethics. Many will remember Guillermo for his genuine smile, happy spirit and positive attitude, but above all, he would like to be remembered as an honorable man of good moral values, respect and compassion for others. His passing is preceded by his younger brother, Osvaldo Ramirez. He is survived by his loving wife, Ruth Herrera and his children, Stephanie and David. He is also survived by his parents, Ines and Aristobulo Ramirez, his brother Edgar Ramirez, and his sister Myrian Ramirez. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Manuel Guillermo Ramirez will be held on Saturday Oct. 2nd, 2021, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with Services starting at 4:30 p.m. at the Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home located at 2000 13th St, St Cloud, FL 34769.
