Justin Kevin Baichu

We gather to celebrate the life of Justin Kevin "BITEYOU" Baichu. Justin was a man of faith, growing up in a Christian household. His favorite Bible verse was Psalms 23, which he even had tattooed on his left arm. The verse that stood out to him the most was verse 4: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me." Justin graced our lives as a father, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and cherished friend. Born on March 11, 1994, in Brooklyn, New York. Justin was raised in Queens by his Mom Angella, Step-dad Rasheed, Mama Nadira, and two uncles Vallen and Dan. Justin attended Benjamin N. Cardozo High School, where he met some of his lifelong friends. At 18, he began his career as a Steamfitter in the Fire Suppression Industry. His two uncles, Val and Dan, mentored him and helped him excel throughout his career. Justin was a hardworking young man who strove to improve in every way. He was determined to stand on his own and be a man his family would be proud of. His love and passion for his profession were evident, as he would call his uncles and chat for hours about becoming a master in his field. Justin’s love for his family knew no bounds. His heart was bigger than the ocean. In a room of 100 people, he would always find his way to you with a hug and a kiss. Justin’s spirit radiated love and kindness. He never missed a family event and was always there to lend a helping hand. Justin had unique relationships with all his cousins. He was a trustworthy secret keeper for Samantha IYKYK. And while he loved all his cousins, his all-time favorite person was Randy, and if you were looking for a good time, you needed to be wherever they were. On March 10, 2023, Justin's pride and joy came into this world – Kayden Baichu. Determined to provide a better life for his son, Justin relocated to Florida at the age of 29 and bought his first home. Proud of his accomplishments, he would make videos and send them to his mom and mama, showing off all the furniture he bought and put together by himself. Justin had a profound bond with his mom, who was his best friend. They spoke every day, and he confided in her about everything, from the little things to the big things and everything in between. He never ended a phone call without telling her how much he loved her. His love for his mom was unparalleled. Justin adored his siblings, Jayden and Madison. He took his role as a big brother very seriously. He was the perfect big brother—bathing them, feeding them, and taking them to the park. His mission was to create a world of love and support that would last them a lifetime. His favorite name to call them was chicken-butt. On Thursday, July 11, 2024, Justin was called home to be with the Lord, surrounded by his loved ones. Justin's memory lives on in the hearts of those who cherished him deeply. He is survived by his beloved son, Kayden; his mother, Angella; stepfather, Rasheed; brother, Jayden; sister, Madison; grandmother, Nadira; uncles, Val and Dan; aunts, Tina and Tirney; grandfather, Rickey; and cousins Alyssa and Daniel. In honoring his family ties, Justin is also remembered by a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, great-grandparents and friends. Though Justin's time with us was brief, his impact was profound. We will miss his infectious smiles and witty comebacks. Losing you, Juss, shattered our hearts, but God needed another angel and he chose you. You will forever be in our hearts. Rest well, baby boy, until we meet again.
