Juanita R. Cochran

Juanita R. Cochran a.k.a. “Mama” or “Granny” was a beautiful soul that God Loved so much he brought her home to his house of many mansions alongside her Family and Friends that were waiting on the other side. She fought and gave everything God had blessed her with inside her heart & soul, all the way to the very end before she left this world on September 3, 2021 at 74 years of age. She was born in Atlanta, Ga to the late Jessie and Emma Reynolds (she was the Baby of three), and her Daddy treated her just that way up until he became sick and went home to the Lord in 1958 (she was only 10 years old). Her Mama also loved her with all her heart and soul and did so much for her 3 children up until she was also called home with the Lord in 1995. Juanita’s personality and dreams were always Big. She fought for everything she accomplished in life as well as for family. Though she did not know how to express her inner loving feelings well for many years, she absolutely loved her Family in her own unique way. In 2012, God had a plan and showed her how to express that Love with ALL her heart, through a life changing experience. That same year she moved to Florida to be closer to her daughter, who was also her caretaker. Juanita learned how to Love so BIG, she Laughed out Loud more often, and in addition she touched so many people’s hearts over the next (just under) 9 years. You could not help but fall in love with her. She was like a beautiful rose, with strong radiant pedals along with some thorns that could prick you when you were not ready. She became amazing with her transformation through God’s Love for her. She is survived by her Daughter, Diana Wagner and her Husband Alan Wagner of St. Cloud, FL; her Son Robert “Bobby” Cochran and his wife Tulia Cochran of Winston, GA; her Grandson Jesse Cochran and his wife Mikailyn “Miki” Cochran of Winston, GA; her Granddaughter, Amber Cochran of Carrollton, GA; her Sister Theresa Reynolds of Temple, GA; and her previous Daughter-In-Law Debbie Lamb of Carrollton, GA, as well as many more family members located in Rhode Island, Mississippi, Georgia and Florida. There will be a Celebration of Life for her in both Florida and in Georgia. Those announcements will be sent later. Her final wishes were to be laid to rest by her Mama located at the Crest Lawn Memorial Park in Atlanta, GA.
