Jose Sanabria, 88, came to Davenport, FL from Naples Florida in 2001. He was born April 11, 1930 in Las Piedras, PR and passed away December 12, 2018, in Davenport, FL. Jose was known by all he met as a quiet, gentle, unassuming, humble man. He loved children for he enjoyed the simple joys they added to his life. Above all he was a man that deeply loved his family, and church. Nothing matter more than being with his partner in life, his wife, Luz. They were inseparable, except during his service to his country during the Korean War in the US Army. Married 67 years. Jose believed in being the best provider he could be. He worked in the early days as a machinist at General Electric and after retirement worked at Publix, rarely missing even one day until the age of 82. He will leave a huge void in the lives of all who encountered him, a void only God can and will fill. Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Servant of God. He was preceded in death by his Father, Abraham Sanabria; Mother, Dominga Sanabria-Vazquez; Daughter Evelyn Sanabria; Brothers: Manuel Sanabria, Francisco Sanabria, Delfin Sanabria, Arturo Sanabria, Francsico ‘Sico’ Sanabria, Ramon Sanabria, Elias Sanabria, Feliciano Sanabria, and Augusto Sanabria all of Las Piedras, PR. Sisters: Sofia Bermudez, Eustacia 'Chita' Sanabria; Providencia Sanabria, Anselma Velazquez, of Las Piedras, PR, Adela Sanabria, of New Britain, CT, Carmen Sanabria, of Lakeland, FL. He is survived by his wife Luz M Sanabria, Daughter, Milagros (Millie) Sanabria-Terry of Winter Haven, FL and Son David Sanabria Sr. of Valrico, FL, Brothers: Fausto Sanabria, Candelario Sanabria of Las Piedras, PR, Concepcion Sanabria Miami, FL; Sister, Lydia Viruet of Ridge, NY; Granddaughters, Ami Sue Mielec, of Lakeland, FL, Ericka Edwards Ramage of Memphis TN; Grandson, Antonio Mielec of Norwalk, CT, David Sanabria Jr. Newington, CT, Justin Sanabria Lakeland, FL. The family will receive friends on Tuesday December 18, 2018 from ten o'clock am to eleven o'clock am, followed by a funeral service at eleven o'clock am. All will take place at Ridge Assemble of God 41219 US 27, Davenport, FL 33837. Interment will follow in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery Kissimmee.
