CHARACTER A man of Great Character whose judgment, humor, and friendly spirit brought out the finest in those around him. The influence of his life upon others is a flame that ÿwill burn brightly forever. He left so much good with every soul he touched on this earth. Mr. John L. Young, 67, of St. Cloud, FL andÿformerly of Middletown, NJ, ÿpassed away on Friday, November 27, 2009. He was the husband of Jeannetteÿ (Scotto) Young. John was born in Queens, New York on June 19, 1942, the son of the late Louis and Catherine (McEwen) Young. He served in the US Army in the Vietnam War. Mr. Young was a Real Estate Salesman in the area for many years. John is survived byÿ a daughter, Michele M., wife ofÿ Patrick McNerney of Saint Cloud, FL;ÿ a step daughter, Jacqueline E., wife ofÿ Paul McGinn of Albany, New York;ÿ two step sons, Alexander L. Crowe of Media, PA, Sean D. Crowe of Middletown, NJ; and mother-in-law, Emma Morlano of St. Cloud,ÿÿ He is also survived by 2 grandchildren, Samantha McNerney and Patrick McNerney, andÿ byÿ two sisters, Kathleen, wife ofÿ Bill Ganci of Port St. Lucie, FL; Barbara Darling of Chicago, Ill and her children, Jeanne and Winston; a brother, Thomas, husband ofÿ Kathy Young of Littleton, CO, and their children, Peter, Carol Ann, and Dawn; nieces, Laura McDonald, wife of Steven of Orlando, FL, Maureen Wright, wife of Greg; nephews, Gene Moyson, husband of Jennie of Clermont, FL, Chris Moyson, husband of Laurie of Kissimmee, FL; grand nieces and nephews, Julianna and Andi, Britain, Aidan, Will and Dylan. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, December 3rd beginning at 10:00 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in St. Cloud. The family will receive friends from 5-9 PM on Tuesday December 1st and Wednesday December 2nd in the funeral home chapel.
