Jeryl Ann Brank

Jeryl was 66 years young as you can tell from her joking smirk in the cover photo. She always wanted everyone to smile. Jeryl is survived by her Son Nicholas, Brother Jeff, Husband Scott, newest little Granddaughter London Rain, two dogs Sunshine & Sachi (who’s deaf but knows some sign language) and 6 little hens. She loved gardening & the outdoors, cooking wonderful meals, horseback riding along with hippo therapy, raising chickens and dabbling with honey bees. She also enjoyed live music with the ability last year in spite of her cancer treatment to get to enjoy a Christmas concert with the Annie Moses Band for Thanksgiving in a cavern in Tennessee….300 feet underground. What a venue for a moving powerful show! Jeryl enjoys taking care of her dogs and animals and wanted to spend her last moments with them both. And what really delights her the most recently has been the beautiful addition almost 2 years old, her granddaughter London Rain. Her grandaughter visits were really special and filled her with joy. Husband: Jeryl is an effervescent angel brought into my life in my time of need. She was always selfless, caring & helpful. No matter how bad it was, she always had more to give back! Unfortunately Jeryl was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer; but she defied the odds keeping it at bay for over 2 years. Finally taking its toll in the last month or so. Most people were unaware of her strife and probably some of you just learned of this. I am so grateful for the 20+ years we were blessed to share together. The good, the beautiful and the ugly. Cancer is like that. I’m thankful to have and enjoyed all of our moments together in revelry and tears now. Jeryl was a beautiful person that gave everything of herself. Love is the most vulnerable thing you will ever experience. Cherish it and be aware of the fleeting glimpse we chance upon when presented this gift. This gift may come in a personal friend, a parent, brother, sister, husband, mentor or in my case a wife, who was everything to me. Her name was Jeryl, named by her mother after a Miss America pageant contestant that year. I’m blessed to say she was my Miss Universe and I miss her dearly. She will be with me every step until we meet again. Thank you so much Jeryl! Jeryl taught me that “time” is not something you have. “Time” is something that you make. So please make the time to spend with the ones you love. You never know how long this gift will last! I’m ever blessed for every second we had together. I love You Sweetpea, you’re the greatest!!
