Jeremy Ross

Jeremy Dean Ross, 51, of St. Cloud, Florida, was restored to wholeness on May 30, 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. He was born on May 22, 1974, to Ann and Sam Ross in South Florida, where he spent much of his childhood. Jeremy graduated from Covenant College in Lookout Mountain, Georgia, in 1997 with a degree in Sociology. He went on to pursue a Master’s in General Theological Studies with a concentration in missions at Covenant Theological Seminary in St. Louis, Missouri, in 2003. His education helped shape his lifelong calling to serve others, which he pursued with great passion and dedication. With a deep love for God’s global church and spreading the Gospel, Jeremy and Amanda devoted 12 years as missionaries in Peru. In 2018, they returned to the United States, where Jeremy continued his work with Pioneers, an international missions organization based in Orlando. As a Member Care and Development Consultant at Pioneers, Jeremy provided counseling, support, and leadership to missionaries and helped facilitate the organization's global initiatives. His work touched many lives, as he traveled extensively, offering encouragement and guidance to those in the field. Jeremy is survived by his beloved wife of 23 years, Amanda Levi Ross, and their four daughters: Kayla (Derrick) Hawthorne, Isabella, Janna, and Eliana. He was predeceased by his mother, Ann McLachlan Ross. Jeremy is also survived by his father, Samuel Herbert Ross; his brother, Christopher (Amy); his sister, Angela (Mauricio) Barajas; and by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He will also be deeply missed by Amanda’s family, including her parents, Danny and Suzanne Levi; her siblings, Janna (Scott) Mawhinney, Daniel (Carolyn) Levi, Micah (Jordan) Levi, and Samuel (Kidy) Levi. Jeremy was a cherished uncle and great uncle to many. Jeremy was known for his warmth, humor, and ability to make people laugh. He was a loyal friend, a trusted confidant, and someone who always made time for others. His wit and generosity left an indelible mark on all who knew him. He had an incredible gift for connecting with people from all walks of life, always sharing love, encouragement, and joy. Jeremy’s legacy will live on in the many lives he touched, his work with Pioneers, and most importantly, in the hearts of his family. A graveside service will be held for Jeremy’s immediate family. A public memorial service will take place on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. at Pioneers, 10123 William Carey Drive, Orlando, Florida.
