James “Jamie" Mark Vinciguerra, 42, of Kissimmee, FL passed away on February 17, 2020. He was born on December 9, 1977 to James and Bonnie (Harvey) Vinciguerra in Hazleton, PA. and moved to Florida in 1986. He was baptized and confirmed of the Lutheran faith in God, our Father. James is survived by his loving family; parents; James Wayne and Bonnie Lee (Harvey) Vinciguerra of Kissimmee, FL; sister, Angela Marie (Gabriel) Santacruz of Kissimmee, FL grandmother, Margaret Fury (Gudich) of Madison, AL; nephew, Gabriel "Joshua” Santacruz of Tallahassee, FL and niece, Sydney Santacruz of Kissimmee, FL. He is also survived by his companion and partner, Lisa Sysol of Kissimmee, FL; aunts, Darlene (James) Douglas of Weatherly, PA and Debbie (John) Babai of North Arlington, NJ. uncles, Joseph (Kathy) Harvey of Nuremberg, PA, Mark (Edna) Harvey of Hazleton, PA, Keith (Nancy) Fury of Madison, AL, David (Malou) Fury of Henderson, NV, Michael (Cheryl) Vinciguerra of Clifton, NJ; cousins; Frank Kapes, Jamie Lynn Douglas, Michael Douglas, Jennifer Cruickshank (Palko), Joseph “Joey” Harvey, Eric Vinciguerra, Jennifer Vinciguerra, Kaitlin Vinciguerra, Michael Vinciguerra, Miranda Foust (Fury), Bethany Fury, Nicole Clark (Fury), Brian Fury, and Michael Fury; and many beloved friends, he considered family. Jamie was born in the Pennsylvania Coal-Region of the Appalachian Mountains. An area known for its beauty and splendor. As a young boy, he was taught by his Dad and Pappy Harvey all about nature, hunting and fishing which lead to a lifelong love and respect for the planet and all its wonder. He loved being outdoors, hiking in the woods, hunting and fishing or nature watching. Jamie worked hard, loved hard and played even harder. He never met a stranger and made friends easily every where he went, with his outgoing personality, infectious smile, and big blue eyes. He shared with his Dad and Uncle Joe a love for antique cars and trucks and all that entails. He was a talented cook and the designated family “Grill-Master”. Jamie was always ready to have fun and make memories with his loved ones, whether it was in the woods, at a rock concert or a party, playing a game of cards, darts or pool, attending an antique car show or club meeting, sloshing around in the mud in his jeep or cruising around town in an antique car or truck. Jamie especially loved all animals and rescued many throughout his life. He served Orange County as an Animal Control Officer for several years. Despite how heartbreaking that job could be, he loved knowing he was making a difference in the lives of injured, sick, abused and neglected animals. He leaves behind his beloved furry children Dogs; Daisy and Benji, Cats; Tux, George, Chevy and Johnny. All of whom he rescued and have a story as to how they came to be Jamie's. Whatever the occasion, Jamie was there, present, fearless, ready to have fun and make memories. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering from two o'clock pm to three o'clock pm, followed by a funeral service at three o'clock pm in the funeral home chapel of Osceola Memory Gardens - Poinciana Chapel, 3175 Pleasant Hill Road, Kissimmee, Fl 34746 with Rev. Herb Huhnerkoch officiating. A reception will follow the services also at the funeral home.
