Hazel Agnes Campbell

Hazel Agnes Campbell, 79, of Saint Cloud, Florida, passed away peacefully Sunday, October 14, 2012 due to complications from a stroke that occurred September 21, 2012. ÿÿA member of a Pioneer Osceola County family, Hazel was born April 20, 1933 in Afton, Virginia, the daughter of the late Berchie and Lottie Small Bragg. Hazel moved to Kissimmee, Florida from Alexandria, Virginia with her husband, Edward, and their two children, upon his retirement from the Marine Corp in 1966. ÿThey moved into their new home in Campbell City which was built by Edward?s father, Edward Dewey Campbell. ÿAfter Edward retired from the South Florida Water Management District in 1990, they moved to Valdosta, Georgia and it was in 1993 they moved back to Florida to their new home in Saint Cloud. ÿA homemaker, Hazel was proud of her clean and neat home and enjoyed welcoming her family and friends there. ÿThey knew her as a caring and giving person. ÿShe was a Baptist. ÿHazel is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Edward H. Campbell whom she lovingly called Babe; her devoted children, Edward Lewis Campbell of Idaho Falls, Idaho and Deborah Campbell Martuch of Rockledge, Florida and her two grandchildren of whom she was so proud, Melanie and Alan Martuch of Rockledge. Hazel is also survived by a sister, Esther and brother-in-law, Prentice Roach of Barboursville, Virginia, brother, Frank Bragg of Waynesboro, Virginia; ÿsisters-in-law, Virginia Bragg of Richmond Virginia, ÿHelen Yates of Kissimmee, Eleanor Ramage of Lakeland, Florida, Maxine Campbell of Houston, Texas, Decca Howell of Nettleton, Mississippi, and brother-in-law, Lester Campbell and wife, Eva of Loughman, Florida, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. ÿHazel was preceded in death by sisters, Rosetta Braden, Loretta Carner, and Mary Shiflett and brothers, Joseph, Radies (Mack), and Harvey Bragg, brothers-in-law, Albert, Charles, and J.C. (Jake) Campbell. ÿThe family wishes to thank Sharon and Dave Manns for their loving friendship at the time of Hazel's passing. ÿMemorial services will be held 11 a.m., Saturday, October 20th, in the Chapel of Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee followed by a reception and time of fellowship at the Osceola County Council on Aging, 1099 Shady Lane, Kissimmee.
