Harrison Marc Percy Cox

On July 16, 2023, we lost our darling boy, Harrison Marc Percy Cox, way too soon. At just 18 years old, “Harry”, as everyone knew him, had a full life ahead of him. Anyone who knew Harry knew him for his infectious smile. They knew him for his sense of humor. And they knew him for his ability to crack jokes. He got so much joy out of making people laugh – and would go to great lengths to do so. Though he is gone from this Earth, we know he’s looking down on us, making sure we all keep a sense of humor down below. His light will forever live on each time we laugh. Harry was happiest when he was kicking a ball around. He played competitive soccer at Four Corners Football Club and later at Florida Tropics. He also played for his middle school Daniel Jenkins Academy and later on the varsity team at Ridge Community High School. His love of soccer never faded, and though he had graduated, he continued playing weekly with his brother, Josh. Not only did he play soccer, but he had a passion for following professional soccer. Harry was a lifelong Liverpool Football Club fan through and through – his favorite player was Trent Alexander Arnold. Harry was such a fan that every year on his birthday, he would get Trent’s jersey – an ode to an idol he looked up to for most of his young life. His light will forever live on each time we watch the Reds. Outside of soccer, Harry loved fishing and golfing with his brother Louis and best friend Lorik. He always looked forward to these hobbies which gave him the chance to spend time with his brothers and friends whenever they were able to get together. His light will forever live on in those friendships – both on the water and on the course. Following high school, Harry was soon to enroll in Polk State College. He was looking forward to deciding what area he wanted to study and where life would take him in his next chapter. It breaks our hearts to know that he won’t have the chance to do that now. Harry leaves behind a family who will forever miss his smile, his laugh and his love. He made any room light up when he walked into it. It’s a lot darker without him these days. But, we are certain that Harry’s light will forever live on in his mother Angie, father Marc, and two loving brothers – Josh and Louis, his grandparents Joe, Susan and Brian, his Aunty Emmas, Uncle Wayne and cousins Ellie, Maisie, and Charlie, his soon to be sister-in-law, Skye, and his best friend, Lorik. We ask those who knew Harry and anyone whose lives he touched, to please join in celebrating his life on Saturday, August 5 at 10 a.m. ET at Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Celebration, Florida.
