Gordon Vincent Greco

It is with a heavy heart that we inform you of the passing of Gordon Vincent Greco, originally from Somers, New York, on Thursday, October 19, 2023. Gordon was born in Bronx, NY, on March 19, 1969, and was loud and proud of his Italian heritage. He was predeceased by his parents, Frank V. and Donna J. Greco, as well as maternal and paternal grandparents, and beloved aunts, uncles, and cousin. Gordon is survived by his daughter, Lilly Greco, sisters Christina Ciraco (Michael) of New Rochelle, NY, Lisa Andrade of Carmel, NY, and Adrienne Cardona (Scott) of Athens, PA, as well as Aunt Cindi and Uncle Mick Mundell and many loving cousins. He is also survived by his niece, Maria Andrade-Denison, her husband Kyle, and his great nephew Rylan, as well as Carlos, Bradley, and Donna Cardona, and Chloe and Gabrielle Ciraco. Gordon loved his job early on as a carpet installer, multi-tasking at a local humane society, and helping others whenever they needed a helping hand. We will miss his laughter, his gift of making others laugh, and his over-the-top, lively sense of humor which he was renowned for. And we will especially miss the fact that he was always there for family and friends 24/7 to listen and offer his best (and sometimes unwarranted) advice. He loved reminiscing about the good times he shared back in the day with Cousin Anthony and neighborhood friends. His favorite hobbies included cooking Grandma’s favorite meatballs, listening to freestyle music, catching up with friends, and mostly… cherishing time with family. From our family to yours: No matter what issues come between you, your husband, your wife, your daughters, your sons, your grandchildren, your Mom, your Dad, your sisters, your brothers, your extended family, your blended family, your significant other, your significant other’s family, and your true friends… hold them close a little bit longer and a little bit tighter with a lot more love and a lot more compassion.
