Dianne E. Muse

Dianne Engelman Muse, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on May 30, 2025. She was born in New London, CT, on January 27, 1950, to Betty and Albert Engelman. Dianne was a twin born alongside her brother, Gerald, and she was the older sister to her twin brothers, Raymond and Robert. Dianne married her loving and devoted husband, Blaine Muse, on August 9, 1980. Together, they raised two children, Jonathan and Meredith Muse, and were blessed with two grandchildren, Jackson and Jordyn. A passionate educator with 39 years of public and private school experience, Dianne dedicated her career to teaching physical education and middle school science in Osceola District schools, inspiring countless students with her love for science and innovation. She was not just a teacher but a mentor, sharing her knowledge and wisdom with students and colleagues alike. Outside of her professional life, Dianne had a remarkable green thumb and a deep love for nature. Her ability to nurture plants made her an extraordinary gardener, and she could often be found in her yard tending to her beloved flowers and plants. When asked how she became such a good gardener, she would say, "Oh, the plants do all the work." Dianne's devotion to family, friends, and fur babies was unwavering. Her fierce love for those she cared about will be remembered by all who knew her. She was a woman of extraordinary heart and faith, known for her kindness, generosity, and the strength of her spirit. In her memory, the family requests that instead of flowers, donations be made to the Orlando Science Center or your local animal shelter, as these causes were close to Dianne's heart. She would have loved this tribute to her legacy. Dianne is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Blaine; her children and their spouses, Jonathan (Adrianne) and Meredith (Josh Hassis); her grandchildren, Jackson and Jordyn; her brother, Raymond, and his family; and numerous extended family members and friends. The family will be receiving guests on Saturday, June 7, 2025 from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, FL 34744. All who knew her are warmly invited to gather in remembrance of her remarkable life.
