Carryl Hall-DeCruise

Carryl Angela Hall was born to parents Kenneth Hall, Sr., who preceded her in death, and Christobel Bobb-Semple, on May 20, 1960 in Guyana, South America. Carryl migrated to the United States of America on June 22, 1974, where she pursued her education and shortly after she began her career as a unionized Civil Servant for the City of New York until she retired. Carryl gave birth to three beautiful children: Michael Halliburton in 1981, Ciara Hall in 1986, and Amber Hall in 1994. In February 2012, Carryl met the love of her life, Colin DeCruise. After several years of courtship, they were married on November 5, 2018. Carryl was known for shopping, shopping, shopping and dressing, dressing, dressing! From her hats, dresses and pants all the way down to her shoes. She was and will always be a class act. Carryl touched the lives of many through her love. Her love of music, dance, laughter and family. She made everyone smile as soon as she stepped onto the dance floor because she always danced like no one was watching. Her love showed in everything that she did. Especially in the way that she cared for her mom, children and grandchildren. Carryl is survived by her mom Christobel; husband Colin; son Michael; daughters: Ciara and Amber; grandchildren: Mikayla, Mikai, Neveah, Maia, and Mila; sisters: Patricia, Pamela, Rose and Beverley; brother Wesley; brothers and sisters-in-law; the DeCruise Family, Errol and Lynette; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. Carryl’s three brothers and one sister preceded her in death: Brian, Kenneth Jr., Brian, and Hazel, respectively. Although Carryl may no longer be with us in the physical sense, the impact that she made on our lives will forever remain. May she rest in eternal peace and all the memories live on. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home in Kissimmee, Florida. Private cremation services will be held at a later date. Carryl will forever be remembered and loved by all those who knew her. May she rest in peace.
