Betty L. Watkins-Brown-Lynch

Betty L. Watkins-Brown-Lynch was born on June 25, 1924, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, at the Woman's Medical Center, on Wednesday night @ 8:58pm. To the late Mr & Mrs Thomas & Martha Watkins. Mulla went home to be with The Lord on July 17, 2014, in Winter Garden, Fl., @ the Health Central Park N. H., on Thursday morning @ 2:30am. Mulla was the oldest of five children. Three brothers and one sister. Frank J. Watkins, Thomas Watkins Jr. & William Watkins,and Lenora Watkins-Carney her sister (all deceased). Others who preceded Mulla, were her husbands the late Roger Lynch, and Simon Brown. In addition, her four boys, Tyrone S. Brown, Jerome Brown, Maurice Brown, and Reginald C. Brown. Mulla leaves to mourn seven children, five boys and two girls. William Watkins (Port Tobacco, Md .), James Moore (Kissimmee, Fl.), Vanessa Brown (Kissimmee, Fl.), Lionel L. Brown (Columbia S.Carolina), Paula Brown-McCoy (Kissimmee, Fl.), Anthony Brown (N. Carolina), & Julius C. Brown (Kissimmee, Fl.). Mulla had so many grands children, she never met some of them, nevertheless, she always knew how many there were and who had them, up until the time when numbers left her memory. However, for the count she has 32 grand children, 38 great-grand children, ten great-great grand children. in addition, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, and beyond. Mulla was always a nurturing woman. As a nurse she displayed a loving heart for others. She always welcomed our friends in her home and was never a respector of person. Our mother's house was the hangout, and she was known by all the neighborhood kids and adults. As a mother she prayed for her children all the time, especially after they were grown and away from home. Mulla never needed a babysitter because there was always older siblings to look after the younger ones. This calls for lots of never ending memories when they all come together. Mulla fell in love with The Lord early on in life, however, her true love came when she went to Health Central Park. She became more like a spokesmen for Christ. Again, she was loved by the workers, visitors, and anyone who she came in contact. She keep a positive spirit and spoke well of everyone. Also, Mulla, looked forward to us visiting and introducing her family to the staff and the other residents at the facility. Everyone always said the same thing, "You All Have A Very Loving & Sweet Mother". Mulla had a true love for Jesus, and now our Big Kahuna shall rest in peace. No one can care for you better than He! We love you and plan to see you again some day! Lovingly The Family
