Anna Clay

Ann B. Clay was born to Leo and Helena Brunelle in Bristol, CT on October 28, 1943, and graduated from Bristol Eastern High School in 1961. She died peacefully at home on November 2, 2022, on All Souls Day. During Ann’s life she worked at Capitol Records in Hartford, CT. Northampton Community College and Hellertown Town Hall. Quality Inn in Orlando. Morse Realty for 10 years in Kissimmee. She volunteered at Faith Harvest as a bookkeeper. Worked at the Osceola Courthouse for the Clerk of the Court for 17 years before retiring in 2010. In 2019, her battle with breast cancer surfaced. Her long and courageous battle finally ended her life. She loved to watch the hummingbirds gather at her feeders when she was chair bound because of her crippling side effects of all the treatments and surgeries to cure her cancers. Her hobbies were stamp collecting, bowling, crocheting and playing Bookworm. She loved taking golf cart rides with her honey, Peanut and playing with her plants. She was a very good Pinochle player. She was a loving mother and faithful spouse, worked hard and sought to serve others. Mom was so organized that she made spreadsheets of her allergies and medical history as well as her husbands. She lived simply and had an attention to detail. Loved God and her family and did the right thing despite the pain. She was predeceased by her parents, former husband John Sahno Jr. as well as Arthur Clay who she was married to for 42 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Orville Reed (Peanut) of Kissimmee, daughter, Rebecca Ryan, (spouse) Gene of Clermont and daughter, Laura Wellard, (spouse) Simon of Celebration; Grandson, Matthew Dunne, (spouse) Megan and five great grandchildren, Bo, Raegan, Caden, Easton and McKenna of Tyndall Air Force Base; her sisters, Diane Roberts of Bristol, CT (fiancée) Paul Maskery, Laura Witkiewicz (spouse) Peter of Marietta, GA and Mary Zaniewski (spouse) Ben of Burlington, CT as well as her beloved Aunt Therese Albert, several nieces, nephews and cousins. The funeral will be at Osceola Memory Gardens located at 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd., Kissimmee, FL 34744. Visitation with the family will be from 11:00-12:00 followed by a service and burial from 12:00-1:00. A reception will be held at Faith Harvest Worship Center on 1537 Mill Slough Rd. in Kissimmee following the funeral.
