Mary J Hough

July 21, 1943 - April 14, 2022

Mary Hough 78 passed away on 4/14/2022 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Port Jefferson, New York she was the daughter of William and Mary VanKesteren. She graduated high school in Port Jefferson and went on to nursing school, where she worked at several major hospitals in NewYork. She moved to Florida and became employed by the state of Florida, where she managed entire departments for over 20 years. She was a member of the Neptune Road Baptist Church. Mary will most be remembered for her hard work, integrity and the giving nature that she possessed. She is survived by her son, Albert Scarpati, daughters, Kathleen Scarpati and Marybeth Sanders, her brothers, William and Robert VanKesteren and her grandchildren, Ashley, Alicia, Veronica, Anastasia Scarpati, Robert Sanders, Tristin Sanders, Bethany Patterson, great grandson Hayes Patterson and a very special Niece Irene VanKesteren. She was preceded in death by her husband Willard Hough, and her parents William and Mary VanKesteren. The funeral/memorial service will be on 4/20/2022 at Osceola Memorial Gardens at 10:00am, located at 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida with internment at the the Osceola Memorial Guardens Cemetery. The viewing will be from 10:00am - 1:00pm.
