“Phenomenal Lady” Mom hands held each child gently from the day they took their first breath. Her hands helped to guide them as they took their first step. Mom held us close when the tears would start to fall. Her hands were quick to show me that she would take care of it all. Phenomenal Lady... Mom hands are now twisting with age and years of work, Her hand now needs my gentle touch to rub away the hurt. Her hands are more beautiful than anything can be. Mom hands are the reason I am me That Phenomenal Lady... That fantastically raised me Bestowed upon me abundant love, Protected me as a lion over its cub; When I was sick or sad, she would pray. Her love erased my troubles away. The gem the Lord gave me, Was more valuable than silver or gold; She possessed many pearls of wisdom, Too numerous for one to hold; And though she is physically gone, She continues to live on and on; Within the confines of my heart, Memories of her will never part; I thank God for the mother he gave me, That wonderful, precious, remarkable... Phenomenal Lady! Jacqueline L. Scott, 71, natural of California, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2021. She is survived by her loving family. Jacqueline will forever be loved and missed by all who knew her. May she rest in peace.
