November 25, 1947 - January 4, 2022
Betty M. Dobbie of Kissimmee, Florida peacefully passed away unexpectedly January 4, 2022. Betty was born November 25, 1947, to the late Carl and Cleo Green. Betty is survived by her sister Judith Daly as well as her three children George, Patrick and Cynthia and a bonus daughter Mary Dawn, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, as well as her nieces and nephews. One thing about Betty, she knew what living life was about. She enjoyed making others happy and having a good time. She loved dancing, singing, bike trails, camping, doing things with her friends, and organizations and just enjoying life to the fullest. She loved spending time with her children, but most of all her grandchildren. Betty was honored about becoming a great grandmother aka Gigi. In 2020, Betty started dialysis due to kidney failure. You would never know how sick she was or that she was doing her own dialysis from her home each night because of her strength and will to live. In 2021, Betty began the process of qualifying for a kidney transplant through Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. Betty loves flowers, but I am sure she would love to help another person go through their transplant qualification. So, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made in memory of Ms. Betty Dobbie to Mayo Clinic for Kidney Transplant Patient Care Fund at Mayo Clinic in Florida. Donations can be made by phone, online or by mail: Phone: Please call 1-855-852-8129 to talk with a Benefactor Service Associate who can facilitate a secure gift over the telephone.
