We are so sorry for yur loss. Mrs. Burnette was a very special person, mom, friend and grandmother. I remember the wonderful Bridal shower she gave me, and how she always stressed how important an education was for everyone. I can still picture her sitting by the pool, drinking tea in your old house....I hope your memories may bring you comfort at this difficult time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

So very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I remember her as an outspoken lady, but always with a contagious laugh. I always felt welcome in her home, and she made her kids' friends feel like part of the family. My sincerest condolences to all of you. I know you will miss her very much.
