Louise Carmelite Wess (nee Devan) 90, of St. Cloud, Florida passed away peacefully on February 27, 2010.

She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on June 2, 1919.  Mrs. Wess spent many years in the Banking business, managed an apartment building and stood beside her husband assisting in many catering endeavors.  She was a devout Catholic with a very strong faith.  She was devoted to her family and had an ardent love of reading.

She was preceded in death by her husband William Elbert Wess Jr.  Mrs. Wess is survived by  her sons, William E. Wess III of St. Cloud, Florida and James Quinten Wess and his wife, Karen of Pennsylvania; one sister Margaret Wess, of Sykesville, Maryland; Granddaughter, Tracie Yelverton and her husband Timothy; two great-grandchildren, Megan Yelverton and Robert Yelverton; all of St. Cloud, Florida.  Mrs. Wess is also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Family will receive relatives and friends for visitation on Friday, March 5, 6:30-8:30pm in the Chapel at Osceola Memory Gardens, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Rd. Kissimmee, FL  34744.  Funeral and High Mass will be held on March 6, at 11:00am at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 900 Brown Chapel Rd.  St. Cloud, FL 34769  Interment will take place at Osceola Memory Gardens immediately following the service.
