Mr. Aurelio Rodriguez Facundo, 93, of Orlando, Florida, passed away Monday, February 15, 2010 at Florida Hospital East in Orlando. Aurelio was born in Hato Rey, Puerto Rico on July 27, 1916, the son of the late Aureliano and Asuncion Facundo Rodriguez Cintron. He was a member of Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church. A disabled veteran of the United States Army having served during World War II. He was also a retired postal carrier for the United States Postal Service. Aurelio is survived by his wife, Francisca (Salgado) Rodriguez, a daughter, Asuncion M. Rodriguez of Gainesville, Florida and a son, Aurelio Rodriguez, Jr. of Orlando, Florida; 9 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5-8 P.M., Wednesday, February 17, 2010 in Osceola Memory Gardens Funeral Home Chapel, Kissimmee. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church, Orlando, FL at 1 PM on Thursday, February 18th, with Fr. Stephen Krisanda, officiating. Intermenet will follow in Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Kissimmee, Floriday. Osceola Memory Gardens Cemetery, Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1717 Old Boggy Creek Road, Kissimmee, Florida is in charge of arrangements.
