About Osceola Memory Gardens
| It all began in the small town of Kissimmee in June of 1958. A man
by the name of Horace Phipps decided to open a small cemetery. He began with 10
acres to serve the people of Osceola and some of Orange counties. In the years
to follow, with the influx of people due to natural growth and Disney, another
13 acres were added in 1989. Due to the popularity of its location, the first
of two funeral homes were built in 1996. The second funeral home in St. Cloud,
Florida, was built in 1999. In November of 2000, 10 additional acres were
added, but not developed as of yet. Soon to follow, and being the leader within
the field, a cremation garden was built and dedicated to those families who
choose cremation. |

The importance of any business today is as only good as its
management is. With the foresight of Mr. Phipps, who saw the birth of the
cemetery, now his son-in-law Terry Roberts is seeing to it that the vision is
carried out. Over the years Osceola Memory Gardens has helped thousands of
families with their property needs, funerals, and advanced planning for the
future. Just as the vision of starting a cemetery, so is the vision of the
continual growth. Over the next few years, there is the vision and planning for
a new mausoleum building, niches, and other new burial gardens that are to be
developed.
